For a team who's notorious cheapness is outstripped only by the Bengals, they sure are throwing around a lot of money. I don't mind the players they're targeting, but with these kind of contracts it would almost make more sense to go after some of the RFAs and give up the draft picks for players who might actually be able to play out one of these hefty deals.
