Actually, they scored on a TD in overtime, so that makes it null. If the opening drive is a TD, the game is over right?
Stilll screwed though. An 8-8 team getting a home playoff game against a 12-4 team is absurd.

I want the new rules for the entire season though. It would be stupid for a team to get fucked in regular O.T at the last game of the season where it's do or die or cost them a better seeding.
I don't think the NFLPA would allow the lengthening of regular season games, especially if they're on the verge of knocking it up to an 18 game schedule.
Apparently a discussion of expanding these new OT rules to the regular season is upcoming. I like the new rule.
lol @ the vikings voting against the rule
HUUUURR DUUUUUUUUUURR
hahahahaha
So... Cowboys.com reporters think that they should switch the rotation to FJ as starter mixing it up with choice and barber as 3rd down/4th quarter back. I hope Wade reads that shit.
Should just platoon Choice and Jones, Barber can play special teams
That's cool, put FJ in at starter. He'll last three quarters before he gets turf toe and and broken leg.
Oh man, I can see it now.... Barber as a gunner, tackling Chris Carr after he runs a punt back 56 yards to the Cowboy 8. He gets up pounding his chest and yelling like he he just scored the game winning run of the 2015 superbowl.
Ahh Marion, when will you learn that you are overrated trash.
Still a stupid rule. The coin toss could still decide the winner, because all that would need to happen is a kickoff return for a TD, so it's still the same as last time, only a FG can't be the one to win it.
I still think the new rule is better. If you allow a kickoff return then you deserve to lose immediately. Another wrinkle is that if the kicking team recovers an onside kick, the other team does not get a possession.
Yeah but a TD is a lot harder to get. Janikowski can nail a FG from the 50. So that's a touchback, a pass interference and a first down and a half.
I still prefer the UFL rules for OT, but at least this is progress.
