Alright. Fair warning though, my connection's being extra shitty right now. Gonna see if I can't do something about that.
Hey just wanna say thanks Parshias and BRP.
I'll probably be on tomorrow evening if people are gonna be around.
Grats. Sorry I couldn't join ya.
lol @ Cha-Cha carving Rathalos tail for me.
lol playing really bad tonight, though I guess once I got warmed up things improved. Anyway... I really want to do Blood Sport now that I am a little more acquainted with Diablos and Uragaan. Might be too late(if we don't do it tonight), but if anyone wants to gather a group of four I am up for it. When do they change event quests anyway?

If its like previous MH games they are basically the same.
It is one of the reasons I got tired of MHFU so quickly, I seem to be the only person on Earth that has a problem with fighting the same shit over and over for all of eternity.
Though, truth be told, I probably would have lasted longer if I had online play the entire time like Tri players do.
Can you fight every monster before shit starts repeating? I don't plan on going farther than that if possible. I wouldn't want having to fight Barroth or Rathian now, unless their "hard-mode" some how made it seem new.
ALSO, BLOOD SPORT. LETS DO THIS SHIT. TONIGHT OR TOMORROW.
I can be on for blood sport later but not now.
High Rank monsters and Normal Rank monsters fight the same, not like MHFU, which I'm sadded by![]()
Wasn't this game dumbed down for the masses from previous incarnations? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
It's "dumbed" down to get a new crowd in for the game and I'm sure if they make a -G version of Tri it will have the other weapons.
Personally I would of loved to use the HH if it was in Tri.
Other than weapons and controller layout making it easier, in what other ways did Tri suffer?
Tri's shitty version of the farm actually makes material gathering tougher!
That wasn't dumbed down but it still makes the player suffer (if they aren't into that part of the game, anyway... I'm sure not)
Other than that I honestly don't know, I haven't played Tri. I've only been reading about it, doesn't sound to me like it has really been dumbed down any.
Why is Tri farming tougher? If it's anything it's easier lol. It just have less monsters/weapons/armors than the psp series, but it looks like MH on wii is starting all over with new mobs and such.
The farm in MHFU costs nothing to use (with the exception of Trenya) and allows you to gather far more types of materials.
I'm not sure how it's 'easier' in Tri given the fact that you can't do blast mining or use Trenya...
The farm in the PSP games is undeniably better than the farm in Tri, you're smoking some crazy shit if you can't see that.
Makes more sense to me, farms aren't a quarry, why would you get mining materials from them.
Because it's kinda dumb to have this feature previously and then take it out to make the game more "realistic."
I love me some Monster Hunter but there's some things about this iteration that they changed that really wasn't necessary imo.
Enough stupid pointless bitching about how this game is worse or better than other Monster Hunters. Can we get back to discussing the game?
Last night I finally took down Barroth with lance. It was a very tough fight but more fun than I thought it would be.
Right after that I fought Gobul and that was way tougher than I thought it would be, most epic fight ever, I ran out of Mega potions and first aid and I was at a sliver of health, one more hit from him and I would go down little did I know he was only one hit away from death too.
On 4* offline quests now. And Long sword unlocked finally.![]()
