Bit of an old topic, but still viable. Wondering a few things, does anyone here still play this regularly? I have been itching to play more lately as MHPortable 3rd is just not as fun right now. Thing is, I am basically stuck at Low Rank Jhen and never had any luck getting a group to get past it with.

Second question, is the Low Rank Jhen soloable? Repel not kill of course, and obviously with Low Rank only gear. I don't have the Hellhunter Jacket either. Anyone know of gear/skills that would make this doable at LR? Guessing not, but wanted to ask. Otherwise, next time I am able to jump on I will just try my luck with groups... if anyone is still out there online.

from what i remember its not soloable due to the amount of damage you need to throw out but as soon as i got all my armor i quit tri to many noobs getting pulled up i remember one guy who was rank 137 who hadn't even tried offline mode ><

Yeah, that is pretty much why I want to just get past it and continue on soloing or helping a friend level up. Other than some Event Quests and Rank Up quests, there is not a lot that isn't soloable and it was what made MH2G so damn fun for me. Not doing any offline quests though is just being impatient, having all of those done let me brush up on most of the mobs for Online... obviously. I got lucky with most of the groups I have played with, just never any of the groups I had for Jhen. Add to that that I had no idea what to do for him the first time didn't help.

I still play, just usually hard to find people interested in doing runs.

Last week while FFXI servers were down I got back into it and I like.. binged on it every day like I did when it came out lol. It makes it easier for me tho I have 3-4 friends who are also down to play including my girlfriend. Got addicted all over again.
