Yeah my bad
so i'm a wii noob. can this be played completely with a controller? or am i forced to use the shitty wii motion controllers?

In the first one from what I remember, the pointer was pretty rarely used for the most part. You just used it to shoot these little stars which stunned the enemies and you fed them them to things for effects, but the former wasn't mandatory and the latter wasn't that often.
The pointer is used regularly when you're riding yoshi (you use it to aim his tongue) and motion controls are used in certain stages. It works incredibly well with Yoshi and the motion control stages have no glaring flaws.
Been playing for the last few hours, definitely surpassed my expectations. Stages are still mostly linear, but that's to be expected with only 1-3 stars per stage. Up to 30 stars and I have yet to run into any stages that feel samey, lots of unique ideas. It's not particularly challenging at this point and they still throw 1ups at you constantly. It's a ton of fun regardless.
ugh, why does red dead redemption and this have to come out in the same week. /shakefist
does anyone know if spring mario is back? please say no.

10
I am expecting 10s across the board. I don't see how you couldn't expect that, even if you think less of the game.
First time seeing a Gamespot review that didn't have any bad points to it listed in the overview. I'm a little suspicious of this review.
For those interested... The game has been dumped on TPB. Tested and running smooth on emulator. :X
Currently on world 2 in the game, and I'm not really 'feeling' it like I did Galaxy 1.
I guess it just feels too samey for me or something?
Lol, I resisted the urge to post that earlier.
EDIT: Nevermind...
Ok that gave me a good chuckle, when I read that on their review, I had to roll my eyes.
