What's the point of having a signature if people have to click on your spoiler to see it? No one's going to click on it, or their going to click on it once and never care again. Why do you care if you have a signature now? Why not just spoiler it. I already have to scroll through your six paragraph long diatribe that I'm sure if I took the time to read would just be as inane and tiring as any other post in this thread, why make me scroll through your 300 pixel signature too?

I have already had to turn off sigs and avatars because what people are already using is way too much for any normal work place.

It makes me realize that 90% of the people that post are young and immature.

It's just one more step in spam taking over the rest of the forum. This isn't something that should even be up for a vote. Either make the entire board a spam forum or keep it in it's place and let those that want to browse the forums for its supposed intent do so.

Didn't go through all 20 pages of this.... discussion but I'm gonna go ahead and say that even if nsfw crap is allowed I doubt there would be all that many people who would change their sigatars to bukkake or animated russian piledriver or things like that. Sure you might get some but even if they do just turn the option to off and there's no problem.

Unless I'm missing something and people who browse at work want the mods to police the internet for them... if that's the case I'm not sure why anyone would want to be a mod here.

Also, just a general observation.. people that don't post in spam often (looking at you general, advanced, media) seem to be filled with more ass-baggery and people trying their hardest to convince others how morally wrong their point of view is and how utterly correct theirs is.

tl;dnr - It's an internet forum, you won't agree with everyone, your sense of morality is different than other peoples, browse something else at work.

Next idiot who blames spam without knowing what the fuck is getting reichbant. As has been repeated about seventy thousand times already, with one exception, everyone in spam has been vocally against NSFW avatars/sigs. You know why?

Because spam knows what the fuck.

Two, three years ago it was the cool thing to blame spam for every bad thing that happened on the forum, and people sound like fucking tryhards when they do it now. Since people are obviously unacquainted, spam has better regulated, better enforced rules and codes of conduct than anywhere else on the forum. There's no moderation in spam. Because they don't fucking need it. Spam is 100% real talk, and the absolute first place I go if I want to know what is actually happening on the board.
