Last time I checked humans can swim how do you surmise that the ocean isn't part of our "habitat." You're acting as if someone out surfing that randomly gets their leg bitten off by a shark is asking for it. A humans ability to swim does not make the ocean our habitat. And yes, if you want to surf in waters that could potentially have sharks in them, especially those with a history of attacks, then I have 0% sympathy for you. Maybe on a some outrageously random encounter where a shark ends up in an area exogenous from its natural habitat.

Your plane crash analogy is fucking stupid, going up in a man made craft and having it crash from engine malfunction, bad weather, whatever, is not the same as going into a habitat of an animal that could potentially view you as food and subsequently being pursued as so, especially if its for leisure, and ESPECIALLY in this case when you have a multi-ton toothed whale being held in a relatively tiny tank captive.

And its not a BS peta line, I just don't know what people expect when you take a wild and potentially very dangerous animal and try to manipulate it. Playing with fire.

I was watching when Animals "attack" on TV with the friends the other day dying laughing, my friends thought I was cruel, but their is no such thing as an animal attack to a certain extent IMO. We as humans (white people more so?) view this earth as ours, we're just allowing the animals to live here as well, when it's the other way around.
This lady on the show got her face damn near claw off by a bear... "This claw just came out of no where"., No it didn't bitch, the bear saw you and thought who the fuck is this in my house. Same thing we would do/think when someone who is uninvited is roaming our house.

I don't know if I would be more scared to see a killer whale or a great white in open ocean.

If I was swimming and saw anything larger than a hand I would freak. Probably why I don't swim in anything other than pools.

There is no such thing as a whale or a shark "attack." Last I checked, they are oceanic, we are terrestrial. Until whales re-evolve legs, or sharks do for the first time, and walk down the street mauling people, its not an attack. We either go into their habitat or bring them into tanks to exploit. Zero sympathy for these rare results.
