Finding Mog-Tablets?

Look for one while having a galkan sausage in your bazaar, and while wearing a subligar.

Quick question, how does this show up when selected?

I've read its a shining light (is it similar to the lights the Lypro stare at in the past)?

Also, when selected is it a '???' or what does it actually say? 'tablet check me!!' ?

When it's popped it's shown as "Mog-Tablet".

That's POST-popped though. Picture of it pre-popped and idle and I'll believe it. As in when unviewable.

As in it's already appeared as an NPC in the main screen. What I want a screenshot of is someone not near it, it not visible at all(as in still just the glowing speck in the ground), waiting for someone to walk over and make it appear.

You are misinformed, they show up with the word Mog-Tablet already visible. They -used- to be only a glowing speck on the ground but this was changed at a later date when they allowed you to see them while on chocobo. My intent in the screenshot was only to show how it appears on widescan.

Some great info so far, but one thing I`m still confused about. When the server message comes up and says the tablets have been scattered again, does this mean they can be found right away? Or do you have to wait 8-24hrs before they can be found? Thanks in advance.

I've never found one tried too many time's though, i'm not sure if they come up on widescan though.

Not anymore. Sometimes you see the message twice if you change zones shortly after one is found, but unless they didn't fix the glitch from the beginning of this event, there can be only 1 per zone per week.

Well last time they were up they were all found so quickly that botting is a possibility, but I don't know for sure. Obviously each server is going to have a different rate of people botting them and the time they come up is completely random so I think anyone has a shot really, those who aren't botting just need to be luckier than those who are

I've found 3 completely bot free but it was extremely lucky. Found two within about 5 minutes of each other one day, and found one while camping Leaping Lizzy on a mule with no intentions of searching for them at the time. Just have to tele out to somewhere as soon as you see the first message that one was found and hope you're in the right zone. No widescan was used either, I was on WHM/BLM everytime I found them. Seraph is usually kind of slow at finding them. Sometimes it takes a few hours for the last one to be found, generally a little over an hour for all 11 though.
