Banned for smn burning?

Me roommate and I, last sunday both of which are using the free trial, bought a new copy of the game to level rdm to 75 as a mule. I've recently quit my job because i'm going to the army next month and just want to chill and level. About 3 days ago i joined a smn burn on my level 12 blm and level 12 whm so i could get the subjobs out of the way quick. My roommate did the same exact thing. This morning we tried to log into our accounts and both us had received a Permanent Ban. After talking the the POL phone support she informed us that it was due to RMT. Only thing we have done suspicious is the SMN burn. We haven't even sent money from our main accounts to level it cause we wanted to get the feeling of starting over because it seemed like a fun idea.

tl;dr Smn burn 3 days ago on 2 diff low level accounts and now both perma banned.

As far as I know, SE has said that smn burn is not against their ToS.

I'm thinking newly started accounts are vulnerable because of the constant /tell spam we all suffer from lvl 1 rmt chars.

That's the only thing i have done that's suspicious though so i'm just completely lost on why. the only person i have really sent a tell to is people who want to party lol...My rdm on that account is also level 38 so i'm not ever running around on a level 1 job anymore.

Theres the culprit. It's almost as if the free trial run have different sets of rules they must go by. Because rmt abused the free trial so much, you can imagine why SE is so cautious and jumps the gun on anything trial related.

This. Smn burning would be a great way for rmt to quickly level jobs on a trial account. A lot of people on their trial account probably would not encounter smn burn either, so its actually a ban I can understand SE making.

Also, you can't get into Korroloka on a free trial account, because they don't have expansion access. Was this on your regular account?
