A squirt gun going through an X-Ray would actually resemble a gun enough to warrant a better look. There are real guns that are made this way that only chamber one round. A two inch lego toy wielded by a 9 year old at school, on the other hand, is completely different. It's not a legitimate comparison.

Basically some high school that is proud of how tech driven they are just in trouble because they had a webcam on the 2000 laptops that they gave to students that they could remotely activate. So basically they were watching kids at home without anyone knowing and they somehow thought it was a good idea to tell one of the parents that a student was doing something inappropriate at home which is how everyone found out what the school was doing.
