nexus got baught out and swap shop in sunrise has some old ass games, but nexus did get bought by another gaming comapny, i heard and they got some mini tourneys for blazblue and shit, i think? i never got into it though. but they're are plenty of unofficial spots, like lauderhill mall and even town center sometimes. i would suggest a place in coral springs i been to once or twice, but some people take their gaming a bit serious there and im not all about that scene of people throwing arcade sticks at other people's cars lol. fucking idiots ruin it for everyone

ANYWAYS Rich you're making me look old as fuck, 1984 fo' life. But yea I live in the Kendall area and here and westchester are really good places to be at. Seno i honestly don't know where you'll be at, i would love to hang out w/ all you ppl from BG but i just got a new job and it's really consuming my time.

I wish for you to have mad fun in miami tho, just avoid little havana, hialeah, and liberty city and you're good.

well, i used to be in 3rd strike, and my main was makato lol. but since 4 came out, i been chillin' here and there. i even bumped heads with flash metroid a few times, but he didnt leave a good impression on me. you can ask nitsuki why lol, but shit man, when i get the time and im in the mood, youll def catch me up here. :D i dont generally roll in clicks or anything, im more of a supporter, and helper. but im always down to meet up some BG peeps and chill out lol

None of the old employees still work there as far as i know, haven't been to Phase so I've got no clue. A lot of my friends were the Smash/GG guys, I'm sure we've bumped into each other at least once.

i like ft lauderdale lol, he's right. but im no tourist, so its obvious why i would rather chill there than south beach if i were to come visit from another place. Ft lauderdale's only ghetto is lauderhill, in the tri county area. you got sunrise---> oakland park---> some of tamarac, and it aint even all that bad lol. you can walk the streets at night in a speedo and not get shot at compared to how mean the other ones are

Pompano can be pretty bad too, MLK Blvd around the county prison gets kind of dicey. But at least in Broward you have to try hard to run into a bad area, problem with Miami is one wrong turn out of a fancy area like Coral Gables and you're in a ghetto. Just getting to a popular spot like Coconut Grove, one of the fastest ways is going down Grand Ave, which I sure as hell wouldn't walk down.

Anyhow, since I still didn't see the cab question answered, cabs down here have alright rates. Only issue is stuff is pretty far spread out. And you'll rarely see cabs roaming around to flag down, you'll have to call for them unless you're at the airport or at a popular bar. Depending on how much traveling you're doing, cabs might be cheaper than renting a car. I can't remember how much it was, but I remember taking cabs from South Beach to UM as a poor college student, so it couldn't have been that bad.

Also don't listen to people whining about it being cold. Sure it's in the 40's in the middle of the night, but gets up in the 70's during the day without fail.

I rode the Go-Karts a couple of times there and one time I left my phone in the kart and it was gone when I went to check. Hilarious really. However, that Roller Coaster is a shit-ton of fun.

Seno, Miami sucks, but it has a beach and stuff I guess, so I assume you want to do that. You'll have to pay out the ass to rent a car at your young age, but you should be able to do it, at least with some companies. However, get a reservation ahead of time...since, ya know, there's going to be a fucking shitload of tourists descending on the town.

little havana aint so bad lol, ive had ex gf's who live there and it was very easy to order some of the best cuban food youll ever have in FL even though the only spanish i know is "tremendo culo" from that lil jon song lol. shit, you can walk alone with your girl at night and not have to worry about anything. but she lived around W flager ST, so it was probably a good area anyways

but LH aint crap compared to some of the parts of liberty city/little haiti. dont matter how big you are, even little kids there are packin' at at the street lights waiting for 1 car to stop at the 4 way red light. And when you think about driving off, youll see 2 box chevys/caddi blocking your way with a group of boys dressed in red coming to both sides of the driver's windows telling you to get out with Zoe pound T shirts on lol. idc if you're shaq, you cant do shit when you got an ak-47 pointed at your face lol.

hasnt happened to me, but i've heard of it happening to other people on more than 1 occasion lol. but, than again.. this was like. what? 4-5 years ago? im sure they cleaned it up a lot in certain areas. police down here are straight up assholes. they'll use anyone as a guinea pig to get their numbers up and ready for that stripe on their collar.
