Gaga != Saga

I am not ashamed to admit I'm a Lady Gaga fan; in all truth I'm not big on dance music and some of the songs on The Fame were kinda bleh, but her showmanship and crazy fashions and whatnot, and the fact she can actually -sing- and plays piano and whatnot, that's what I love.

Anyway, so I hop to facebook and get this suggestion:

Uh... just because "saga" rhymes with Gaga does not mean I wish to be a fan of Twilight. Yes, I've read the books, but no. I'm rather confused, honestly... I would not associate a performer who bloodies herself up and hangs herself onstage would be the type of thing most of the middle aged Edward obsessed crazies would be into.

I've never heard a song by Lady Gaga, I do not think this will change anytime soon.
I actively avoid them just so that I can say I've never heard one.

The overplay on the radio hurts in a way, I know with "Just Dance" I was like, meh, a summer dance hit, flash in the pan, etc, and Poker Face never really grabbed me. It was the VMAs honestly that I first heard Paparazzi, outside sorta vaguely knowing the chorus from overhearing radio (I don't really listen to the radio.. NPR or CDs); and then kinda got more intrigued. Paparazzi is an interesting story, and I love the video for it; Bad Romance is just amazing all around, musically, vocally, and the video is crazy amazing - and yeah, i want like, all those shoes and want to wear a golden sequin crustacean outfit too. Speechless, yes, is a great song, and the reason she wrote it is very poignant.

That's Bad Romance. That chant is hard to get out of your head, haha.. and sometimes I just send that in texts to people to crack them up..

Meh, but the best part of that song is the bridge near the end, where she sings and then repeats in French. That's what I like about it

Nah, it's all over the net, in a couple variations - some people apparently like RO(MA + MAMA) better, and some have +s and parentheses placed differently.

How about if I said it is your duty as a godless shameless sinner to do so? There was this hilarious article I came across denouncing her video for the song, which basically broke it down into being a tribute to Baphomet, the sun god Ra, etc etc, and blaspheming the holy church... and that Lady Gaga is a puppet of the Illuminati? hahahahaha
