He was also good in Stargate Atlantis, guess people didn't really see that though =/

Game of Thrones definitely helped with the non-SGA fans.

He didn't wear strappy leather armour that shows off his chest and shoulder muscles in Stargate.

I'm more referring to the way he acted, he was quite the bad ass. He did show off his shoulders/chest a fair amount in stargate, not as much as in Game of Thrones and he has bulked up a bit too.

Ah, but to me, he's lovely eye candy. I do like this trend towards more machoy men in Hollywood (like the dude from Thor). All those girly guys, like Robert Pattinson, were so unattractive.

You mean men looking like men and not sickly 14 year old boys? lol

can't say I ever really understood that either.

Just got back from seeing this, it was pretty awesome. Lots of fighting, blood, and some kills that were just awesome. Would recommend seeing.

Dude was terrible in Atlantis, him and Teyla killed the show.

Saw this last night, 100 minutes of violence, 15 minutes of watching parents drag their kids out of the theater.

    Pretty much.

Anyone else notice the movie is fucking loud as shit? lol I was like "damn this is as loud as the train wreck in Super 8...but for 2hrs". Movie was good though, better then the old Arnold ones imo and a good Conan flick.

Just got back from this movie. Really liked it. Lots of violence. Lots of gore. Lots of boobies.

I have plans to divorce my husband and marry Jason Mamoa.

The one thing I didn't understand is why absolutely no one in the Hyborian Age have ever heard of watch towers, sentries, or scouts. So many, many "surprise" attacks.

Really surprised to see the green chick from Star Trek in this film.

I watched this in 3D and also had a super loud showing. We were in the "Empire Experience" theatre which has a pre-show all about its awesome and deafening sound system. I'm going to start carrying ear plugs to the movie theatres. They've made the movies darker but try to make up for that by deafening the audience.

Just saw this a little while ago. It was REALLY loud at times. The scenery and background music overpowered the actors voices quite a few times. Then again, there really wasn't much speaking lol. It's a fun movie of a dude with little manners killing bitches in his way.

I saw this in 2D and noticed the parts that were specifically intended for 3D. If I had to guess, it would be a good 10 scenes that were made for it. Anyone see it in 3D and enjoy it?
