You're camping them with a program that alerts you automatically on a pop, how is that not botting? Because it doesn't claim the mob for you? Well the rest of the bots don't fight the mob for you, but they're still bots.

How isn't it? It's a huge advantage, set up level 1 mules at each zone and you're good to go. Widescanning takes constant attention, gl getting scanners dedicated enough to beat deathspot scanners.

I don't usually post on BG, but I feel somewhat compelled regarding the Midgard-Quetz merger.

I find a lot of Cesaria's comments to be pretty false, sorry. I'm sure you're a nice person and I don't really know you. But this server is hardly full of drama, especially in comparison to some of the "notoriously" drama-filled servers. Midgard is a very historic server, with some historic moments, and it's sad to see the name go for that reason. But this isn't some server where endgame shells shit all over each other.

Disagree entirely, there's tons of drama in Midgard's history, and unless the entire server has done backflips to change in the past 5 months, there's still plenty there.

I have never found Dynamis to be an issue, nor do I find problems with groups being cut-throat about trading glasses. Though I am curious if you guys actually use this QCDN, or if it's some antiquated system? Some of your posts seem confusing about it, if you could clarify that'd be appreciated.

It isn't an issue on most servers, but a lot of people will start drama based on the fact that some shell runs up and trades a glass to enter before another shell. Hint: Pers did it to 8bit, and you did it to Pers. I don't see a problem with it, but that's "drama".

As to the quality/skill of the hnmls on Midgar, you should probably ask the people in those shells (EightBit, Persistence, LateNite, zEUs). Pretty sure Cesaria isn't in any of them. As for the general populace, I highly doubt it's more retarded than any other server.

I agree with most of what Cesaria said about Midgard, sorry. It's a pretty bad/backwater server with a lot of bad endgame players and shells.
Also, there were less people posted in the gimp thread on Midgard, not because there weren't gimps, but because there are so few BG-readers left there.

Contrary to popular belief quiet a few of dyna shells use the calendar, however there are shells that don't (my shell being one that does not) and we just make sure to check the calendar before we schedule dyna for the week. that being said there are assholes on every server to feel the need to steal at last minute.

Am I to safely infer from this comment that it would, in fact, be ok not using the calendar and instead just cross-referencing for what zones to avoid?
