And this is where efficiency comes into play. A SAM/NIN doesn't have to back off. Ever. No need to die, no need to ride seigan-third eye for any real period of time. I ride hasso and utsusemi, son. I get 100TP, I weapon skill. Nothing else.
Khimaira is normally 15-20 minutes to kill. If a SAM/THF doesn't cap hate (at least CE) in that amount of time, urdoinitwrong. No tank, no matter how good they are, can keep hate off of a SAM/NIN who is constantly weapon skilling everytime they get 100TP. Especially on a mob like Khimaira, where the only damage that is being dealt happens from AoE that hits all tank/melee equally (assuming all of them have shell, which they should), the SAM/NIN is going to be on the top of the hate list probably from 95% -> end.
Shut up Draylo.
And how sub nin gonna do so much when its aoe wipe your shadow and you full timing hasso?
Powerful troll.
Summary: sub what you and your LS feels most comfortable with.
Some people don't to flood a mob with DD because the healers cant handle it or the DD get overzealous and refuse to use defensive tools/die before defensive tools are made useful.
Shit is situational, pick what works for you etc etc.
Only dreadstorm wipes shadows. Everything else just stuns / stones / etc and ignores shadows. Dreadstorm isn't used often enough to really matter, and even when it does use it, PDT gear -> unstun immediately pop Seigan / third eye, start Ichi, let it swing once, click off Seigan, enjoy 12 second recast Ichi, toss up Hasso, continue epic damage.
I generally click off Hasso to redo shadows, and throw it back up for weapon skills. It's only a minute recast, at most I'll go 3-4 weapon skills without Hasso, not a big deal. With meditate up, can go 4 weapon skills in a row before needing to re-do shadows, so Hasso is up for all of them.
Something any good DD will learn very quickly in end-game: Defense first, DD after. Popping off a huge weapon skill is quickly made useless when the mob flattens you and you have to suffer for 5 minutes in the background. I don't care if I'm holding 200 TP, it's more important to assure my survival then spend that oh-so-precious TP.
Super Jump.
..And we're all very much aware of this, which is why most of us realize that simply dealing with your enmity is a better decision than trying to avoid it. For the purpose of this discussion with this idiot, though, there's simply no denying that High Jump is going to result in less enmity accumulated over time than Trick Attack. End of story.
How am I an idiot, because I don't conform to your opinion? Get off your high horse, people do things differently, learn to accept that. My main argument was that sub thf has it's uses, which it does.
Math = my opinion ?
lol
BLU/THF, that's it(but BLU sucks anyway, so meh).
And "doing things differently" has been the excuse of the snowflake population of this game since its creation. There is always a right and wrong way to do things(protip: the right way is the way that's better).
Edit: and lol@ the above. The fact that you two have no logical justification for your ways does nothing but put a big, fat grin on my face. Frenetic is the last thing I am right now![]()
Yes. Sub THF has it's uses. To allow me to identify people who suck when I do /sea all 75 sam.
But they might be farming.
But its my 12.95 and I'll play how I want!
