I'm saying FFXI won't do this, and furthermore, there were other games (such as AnarchyOnline) where later expansion level progression added it's own basically separate levels. AO had 200 levels before Shadowlands, then SL add 20 other levels, which made your character more powerful, but the levels didn't give you the stat points of other levels basically. Imagine FFXI basically counting you as a lvl 75 character for all pdif, accuracy, etc calculations as long as you were >=75, all the additional levels did was give you maybe +1 to all stats at 79, 89, and 99, extra JAs/spells/SJstuff, and perhaps higher level gear/questaugments. There is precedent to things like this, and it isn't a huge leap to think SE may take some sort of similar approach - because it maintains some amount of game balance. Will the current game become easier? Of course, but it doesn't have to be by leaps and bounds like it is in a WoW expansion.
As for Dynamis, I'm sure it will be pretty easy at 99, but you aren't going to walk in and solo Shadow Lord. You aren't going to walk in and full-clear Bastok solo. The "optimal" number of players will drop, but it won't go to 1. Hey, it'll be kinda like Limbus...which shells do as a whole, and split into different groups. If anything, I'd say people should be more worried with Dynamis congestion than exp camp congestion, as I don't see any way for Dynamis to not remain insanely profitable.
