Shocked and stoked. I was getting sick of doing consulting and watching south park reruns. This was probably the only thing they could have done to get me to come back now that my char is unbanned.

Edit: What's the worst that can happen? If it sucks, cancel your account again and your out $50 or whatever for checking it out the new shit for three months. Well worth the risk if this is implemented properly.

/cor would actually be good for any job that can use a gun (maybe any ranged if QD will work with it) Rdm/Cor with a Failnaught/PPA would be pretty sweet imo.

As far as people worrying about Faf, Tia, etc becoming the new Roc and Serket, did anyone ever stop to consider Besieged and Campaign? We know for absolute certain that Campaign is still being worked on, and therefor, its not being cast aside(like Fafnir or the like would be, for example). That means that there must be some scaling involved to suit their new level99 playerbase, or that there will be level caps imposed upon a handful, if not all "older" events.

Edit: forgot to include the actual point- Campaign and Besieged would be complete trash if nothing scaled along with the players, so why would they be working on improving a system that will no longer be practical in ~7 months?

when it first came out it doubled potency and i think the only nerf to it was the fact that it used to enhance elegy was removed.

Personally, I don't care if those mobs become easy, or if we'll be able to take a merit party into Dynamis and full clear it in an hour. I just think that, if that's the case, making sure those things are completely available to everyone is an important foundation. IE, instance Dynamis, make kings poppable, and so on.

If they simply scale things up, then that enforces a huge grind on people just to continue doing what they're already doing. Assuming that post-75 XP is regular XP, even if they have every level to 99 the same as 75-76 presumably is, that's still over a million XP from 75 to 99. 75 wouldn't even be halfway. That's...a lot of grinding. Especially if you have a number of 75s.

I'm more hoping that post-75 will be more of a merited/quested thing, though it probably won't be.
