It's often like that IRL, so why is it retarded? People focus on different aspects of life, same in-game. Makes sense.

You can be smart and strong too you know. IRL if you've gone to college it doesnt mean you can't go to the gym and work out.

If you're a doctor it doesnt mean you physically are now incapable of staying fit.

There are plenty of teachers, phsyicians, and people in general that can be both extremely fit AND intelligent.

But according to ffxi: Ooops you made your character stronger (meritted str) now you can't get smarter cause you used up all your lifes points.

Character: But I can still go out and party and get merits, why can't I keep getting stronger?

Anyone think it would be cool if part of the Trial of w/e it is that augments your gear also let you choose what it lokos like? So maybe everyone could have an errant body augmented to look like a morri robe and add magic acc too it? lol

Maybe color (ala the Ebon set), but not appearance outside of that.

Would suck inviting say a MNK who looks like full usu, etc, then check it and go "Aww its a scorpion harness and Republic Subligar... its 75... why"

Then again, wouldn't mind a little color variation :\, Red Valor armor.

Haha, a good point, but no offense when do you ever invite someone based on their gear without /c them? I sually don't even look at them I just /sea all BRD for instance or /sea all 75 inv or something lol. Whoever has a catchy /seacom I'd usually grab ;p

I just find it's the ultimate testament to SE's spectacularly bad game design.

The very concept of Relic & Mythic weapons is so horribly flawed; getting an entire LS of people to help one person obtain a single, often marginally better than the next best choice weapon after a year or more of work and lord knows how much gil. No, that isn't the least bit stupid *rolls eyes*
