I never claimed it followed a curve.
However, skill above a formula change obeys that formula change.
If you have skill, and you have a torque that gives 7 skill, you get the reduced accuracy from >200 skill, not the standard accuracy from <=200 skill.
It appeared as though you were arguing for how skill would be increased, not its effects...
Perhaps the side effect of being up for more than 24 hours? After rereading, it still looks like that's what you were saying, though >_>
Go to bed Cairfield.
I haven't exp'd on whm since 07 and SE brings this shit in now! I still have to finish my 74cor 61drk 61nin 60rdm 56war 52smn and a bunch of other jobs! /hateonSE
Shall Se finally release "Amatsu:Tsukikage"? THAT is enough to becon my return!
Also keep in mind that they might just toss this calculation altogether, because at 99 the differences between skill ranks will be huge if they were to remain the same and just followed the same progression of the status quo. That is the reason that they are already normalized above 200 skill to begin with. I would not be surprised if there is further normalization or if they go back and re-normalize some of the numbers we already have.
I think if you read the update history of FFXI, they didn't lower the accuracy to compensate for lower skill ranks. They actually originally had skill over 200 grant . . . I want to say . . . 1/2 accuracy per skill? I remember it was something ridiculously low.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they they adjusted it up to .9, which increased the gap between low and high rank skills.
So according to Sho, Afflatus: Solace and Misery, Yonin and Innin will be trademaark abilities and unusable subbed, based on the Vana'Fest 2010 footage.

Well you can't win 'em all! Would have been nice for /NIN to have some sort of offensive aspect other than Dual Wield ;x
Heh =p Oh well! Dual Wield III (@90) would probably make it a competitive sub considering Pizza, but if they don't adjust the skill cap formulas there will be scant few jobs who can take advantage.
