Current Goals -> New Update Goals..what should we rethink?

I'm curious. With this new update there will be a lot of new content, mission progression, new addons, new level cap, new...everything.

Currently a lot of us are working on getting some jobs to 75, working on Maat's cap..working on certain missions and other aspects of present day FFXI.

But..once these new updates arrive..the game is going to be pushed in a different direction.

People leveling 75 jobs will have to focus their mains on getting to 99. People will start needing to do WotG missions that haven't already.

A lot of in game goals that people currently are doing may need to be halted all together.

What, in your opinion, do you think would be a good set of goals going off of the information given..that we should all start working on from a progression standpoint?

I can see a lot of people levelling "subs" to 50 now, from 37. I suppose I'm kinda lucky in that almost all my jobs are 50+, but I'm working now on getting dnc and sch there now because of this announcement.

My main focus will be leveling COR and WAR. I might reactivate just to get SCH/PUP/DNC to 50 so I won't have to bother with SJs.

Subjobs won't be too terrible for me..main sore spots are going to be DRK, WHM, WAR subs from 37 to 50 which are eww..but meh..

Thankfully because I went after my Maat's cap the only jobs I have that aren't 50 are DNC/PUP/SCH.

I had thought of that too, until I saw that once Odin/Alexander get released, the Astral Flow immediately ends instead of going through it's usual 3-minute duration.

I'm finding it hard to get excited about at all. 11 jobs at 75, but lost all my mage gear when my alt was hacked recently so they're going to moulder at 75 (prolly go kill one colibri and get them to 76 for the hell of it since they're on capped exp).

BST will go to 99, will probably have to take COR up relatively rapidly... not going to go nuts to do so with the age of the game.

On the plus side... the northlands (s) zones just became incredibly attractive to a 75+ BST when the tiggers and lynxes hit a level to be charmable. I'm going to get revenge on every fucking imp that's aggroed me running around there.

Starting from 0 -> 99 and getting through all the old AND new content would take you 7 more years. Just play FF14 lol..
