They should make Innin/Yonin dual wield (+maybe Hand-to-hand) only, making it similiar to Hasso/Seigan for 2-handers. This would also (mostly) deny it from paladins as well, which I think would be for the best.
I don't know if many PLDs would use Yonin or not, while it can increase enmity it also impairs your accuracy. And since Atonement spam is the new fad...
Though yeah, I pray that WAR/NIN DWing isn't the new standard for 99. I'll cry if I have to remove all my GA merits and move them back in Axe
Innin isn't going to beat Hasso and 2-hander weapons will still have an innate advantage. However, it could potentially help re-balance 1-handed weapons to some extent, along with DWIII.
We'll see. I just hope they keep 2H an option since I don't want to go back to DWing due to having to redo my merits again.
Funny, at least this last page is about possibilities for subs when the first job level increase doesn't come until June.
Not sure if it has been brought up yet, but wouldn't Hasso give an extra 2% Haste when subbed at 49?
Repose is 48, hurray light based Sleeps!
This is completely dead on. Such a thing would make so much sense.
