I wonder if the bonus item is the Nation ring equivalent in XI, except now you can choose whichever you want regardless of race and starting city. Either that or the FFXIII codes, I thought that wasn't until beta though.

I always thought that stupid Adventurers coupon thing should have been a quest for the starting item.

Also, it could be the FF13 special item thing, they might just have the option coded in there already.

The code was used for the beta sign up for PS3, and they said to save the code and it will be used for a special item, so no, I think all anybodys done is entered it for the beta, just dont lose it.

I was actually given the code from someone on BG who didn't want it. It sounds like there might have been two codes, though, so here's to hoping I was generously given the correct one!

If you've read any of the lore of the game and the description of the Lalafell, you'd know that everyone has one of Twelve guardians they follow. Lalafell also mention the Zodiac. Obviously the birthdate of the character plays a role in all of this.

(The Twelve = The Zodiacs? Recurring theme... oh noes!)

And yeah, I assume the bonus item is indeed from our FFXIII codes. Wonder what we get. >_>
