Anyone PC savvy can help figure out why my sound wouldnt work? When I started I heard the music just fine then my pc froze, since then there's been no sound. Restarted program/pc a few times and it's still quiet even with the game full dled. No idea what to do, don't want to reinstall from scratch, that download took literally all day.

Guardian? Does the selected guardian determine our element? Diaboros! to resist sreepga!

Guardian is most likely the deity/gods which you can select to get special bonuses. There has been mention of them on various ffxiv websites.

If you've read any of the lore of the game and the description of the Lalafell, you'd know that everyone has one of Twelve guardians they follow. Lalafell also mention the Zodiac. Obviously the birthdate of the character plays a role in all of this.

(The Twelve = The Zodiacs? Recurring theme... oh noes!)

And yeah, I assume the bonus item is indeed from our FFXIII codes. Wonder what we get. >_>

That is awesome, i wonder if people will follow their own birth date. There are actually 13 signs, but oh well, not really anyone pays attention to that.

13 signs in astrology, we have to pick our sign when we create our char, however they give the standard 12.
