there are a ton of peaceful tracks.. i hope they're like zone music for beautiful fields and such.

2D has nice piano and strings..
3D has nice slow chimes
4A is peaceful xylophome/chimes.. has a quiet night town feel..
4C is another peaceful one. sounds like uematsu's usual town theme style.
26 peaceful piano
27 has that angel choir thing.
29 sounds like a love song similar to eyes on me.
32 is so peaceful and calm. I love this one so much... its the flute i swear.
37 is piano and strings, feels melancholic tho
42 is really ambient and fairly calm. seems to be area music.. love it too.
47 sounds homely cos of the guitars imo.

Gria makes sense though, as there was a character resembling it on the image at the official website when it first opened:

Why would a Gria from Ivalice be in ff14?

What does it having to be with Ivalice to do with anything? There's Humes, are there not? Its a Final Fantasy game. Besides, a lot of the job names are taken directly from Final Fantasy Tactics, which is a based around the Ivalice world. "Mithras" also made an appearance in Tactics - and XII, albeit under another name.

Lancer, Archer, Pugilist are all names originally in Tactics. In Tactics, Matoya was a court Thaumaturge.

Well the wanderer and navigator both seem related to travel, which I'd attribute to wind. Wandering seems like a more chaotic form of travel, while navigating seems like a more orderly form of travel, so maybe Oschon would be Umbral-Wind and Llymlaen would be Astral-Wind. The other ones don't seem as clear-cut to me, so I'd need to see the full list before I could start comparing.

To navigate(navigation), is a description more to do with air/sea travel. Ocean/sea travel seems heavy, this time around. So, I'm going to with ocean/sea, as that leviathan flying over the vessel is related to Llymlaen in some way shape or form. So the "water element" would be a better suit. no?

I feel icky for seeing BG mentioned in the same sentence as ...K... ergh. I can't even finish it.

The people who post there are just more compliant with the NDA i guess, or just don't want to risk getting exposed.
