forcing 30fps, it's a step in the right direction. Them getting their crap together is them starting to listen to players for once.

30 fps is not and never was a good thing. Did anyone ever really ask for a 30fps cap/limit? It's not like limiting it would really help lower cards out, it'd just hurt the better ones that can run it at higher than a fourth of our refresh rates.

If you can't figure it without translations its not worth bothering. Its exactly the same as any signup you've ever done in english. Regardless, the guys fighting Habetrot right now in between showing the pictures already shown in this thread, so dont go nuts about it ;p

Are you high? How does doubling the time allowed to render each frame not help lower end PCs? It also allows them to use more GPU intensive effects since they have longer time to render.

It makes an enormous difference in performance, and you can usually barely tell the visual difference between 60 and 30 unless you're looking at them side by side. If they told you it was going at 60 when the code was actually going at 30, you would never know (unless you used fraps or NPerfHUD or something to pull out the real numbers).

If they told you it was going at 60 when the code was actually going at 30, you would never know (unless you used fraps or NPerfHUD or something to pull out the real numbers).

Not everyone is like you, i'm rather sensitive to fps and can tell fairly accurately between 1-80. Anyway here's to 60fps!!

Yeah, there's a vast difference between 30 and 60 FPS. Saying you can't see a difference is almost as dumb as "they eye only sees at 23 FPS" or whatever other nonsense figure people like to make up.
