Slightly unrelated; but does track 3C in the OST sound a little like Ronfaure to anyone else? Or just remind them of some area in FFXI... I can't remember but it sounds very familiar. Its my favorite track so far.

Around 1:30 it starts playing part of the FFXIV main theme, but I don't think this is the answer you were looking for.

80 slot bags on a brand new character isn't that bad at all, especially if they keep around the system of upgrading your bag from XI.

Does sound reminiscent of something... Maybe Rabao or SarutaBaruta[S] or something? Hard to place it. It is nice though. When the low piano note hits in 3F it sounds like something out of the movie 2001 lol.

It's much better than FF11 and most other MMO's out there, not sure if you can equip more bags though.

Yeah, 80 for a new character isn't bad at all. I'm quite happy that the stating inventory for FFXIV is the same as max-upgraded for FFXI.

Let's hope its something that's not just in the alpha, and that it will be at least 80 at retail.

And yeah, I was thinking you might be able to equip pouches too to upgrade inv slots.

I don't think they've said anything concrete one way or the other regarding it, except for a small comment in an interview about wanting to keep something like the mog houses around.

I can't remember every interview obviously, but if they did say yes or no, I don't recall it.

EU beta starts in just over 2 hours now, I imagine some english shots will come out of that.

The US players get to start at 6 PM PDT and go to 10 PM PDT. So 9 PM - 1 AM for us Easterners.

On the note of inventory space though, can anyone confirm if equipped items still take up a space in your bags, or if they're moved out of them while equipped?

1) I see ??? for HP/MP does that mean we might see a mobs HP/MP this time around ~_~?

2)is invo taken up when you equip something?

I think there was actually an interview somewhere where SE talked about potentially adding Libra to XIV.

I don't understand this complaint lol. What game has ever given you more than 80 at the start of the game?? and yes on XI you start with 30.

They seem to be not emphasizing changing gear for every action. So if you think about removing all that one spell casting gear your removing a large chunk of your inventory. 80 spots doesn't sound bad at all - especially compared to loot heavy games that are out now that don't even have 80 slots.
