i believe thats what the feedback forums are for. Don't worry there is still many many months until release, just keep QQing on there and they'll change it

Or an inventory could be an inventory of everything that's on the person. There are more than one ways to look at this system, especially since they never defined it as "bag space".

The backpack is symbolic for you ability to carry everything... yeah that's it. >.>

I get the impression that it's actually going to be very similar to XIII... not the same obviously but a lot of the same principles. Lack of Autoattack is probably a good thing.

If nothing else I bet it'll be pretty easy to tell who is good at their jobs in XIV lol

Yeah, reading this zam thing. Seems like you can queue actions and trigger some at different times from what I understand... Should make for an interesting combat for melee.

Be careful, the queuing of action may be referring to the Battle Regimen system which is the new Renki system.

Are you able to switch gear or take off gear during battle? I'm guessing no until disengaged?

I'll check as soon as I can. You can't enter active mode in Limsa Lominsa and the server is a bit unstable.

Really? I carried mine in a tiny keyfob with a big red button on it. Convenient.

Tbh the UI isn't really intuitive took me 3 minutes to figure out how to engage a target ...

Considering if you equip a new weapon it will change equipment along with it (how class changing was first described) then that would need to take up space in your bag to make sure there is room for it if you change classes on the fly.

You target it and execute a command, how hard can it be? Unless of course you didn't read the controls and didn't know how to enter active mode. >__>;

Yeah, it was said that the Alpha lacked any tutorials that would be in the final version.

Fuuuu that saddens me. Apparently there's alot of players that barely make it past the cutscene without disconnecting.

Why would you even ask that? It's an alpha and it's already been noted multiple times that the currently available character creator is missing tons of features in it's current state.

Even the alpha, while not complete, has a considerable amount of variations available such as face type, skin color, hair style and body size. There are even smaller details, like putting highlights or streaks in your hair, that are customizable. There will be brand new aspects of your character to select as well -- there will even be a number of different voice types.

Options are face style, hair style, hair colour, hair highlights, eye colour and height.
