FFXIV Closed Alpha/Beta Discussion (Cancelled for this week)

Pooky opened up a shop for a little while in his stream. I remember the basic potion was something like 137 and he only had 74 at the time. It was when he first got to the crystal before he started the party.

Saw a few screenshots of people with 1-2k gil on them, would be interesting to see how potions work, like cooldown timers etc.

Well honestly all I can do is trust what he said, for one he did not make a big deal about in on Ventrilo, we where just talking about it casually, and he mentioned it. That and because of the NDA no one is really suppose to even say they are in it, let alone show any proof.

Besides so what if Closed beta has not started yet or not, we are not in it anyway if it has, so why would it matter.

Well judging by the alpha people aren't going to have as much health by the time they get to the levelcap. Seems like it would be extremely rare to even see a guy around 500hp atm since that would mean they put almost half of their skill points into it if not more.

You guys are right I'm just trolling. All the NPC mobs, armor, character selection and menu info I posted the day before the alpha was all made up. It's not like I was the first to say you are able to select a birthday for your character or that you have the ability to select which voice you want for your character... I pulled all that out of my ass. So congrats I will no longer be posting anything I find from the alpha/beta client here. I'm sure you all don't care and neither do I so continue to bash me. The feeling is mutual, I care about you just as much as you care about me.

Well that's a good start. Since FFXI potions were almost 1k. I wonder how potent they are. Maybe we'll find out tuesday.

meh, hi-pots in XI were only good for a few situational fights, other than that they were pretty useless.

SE doesn't seem to do anything regarding XIV info, just a few select do and good luck trying to find them.

I maxed out my inventory on them with PLD when I did CoP missions. Potion spammage FTW!!!

I think, if I remember correctly, that they said there won't be an AH in the sense we had in XI, they are thinking of something else or such?
