I never heard about Druid... what info is there on it?

Are we sure there are two other magic classes even assuming that data is reliable? I haven't even seen anything like auction categories to make me think that those two magic weapon types aren't just for Conjurer and Thaumaturge.

Raises lots of questions if it's real. Would a 2-handed shield class be new or an option for a class like Gladiator? Wtf is a precious sword... some kind of caster class sword maybe?

And shepherding sounds like a potential fill-in for a pet class.

I'm trying not to let the suspect info excite me :/

There was a class called "Druid" shown at Gamescom iirc. The german site also listed Druid in their description of DoM on the official website.

But since it hasn't been revealed already, and there's no sign of such class in the .dats nor the game I assume Conjurer replaced it.

Druid has basically only been on one video from gamescom. It was casting banish.

Banish is already in the game available for one of the two classes.

Ah, sounds likely to be Thaumaturge then.

I would kind of think/hope that DoM wouldn't follow the convention of being based on a weapon like DoW. Since the magic itself is the primary weapon, it's kind of bollocks to restrict a certain class to wands/staves/etc.

The 4 weapons thing doesn't mean 2 new DoM classes. The official site has 2 different types of weapon available for each DoM class, so 4 total.

Druid is likely just a translation error or a renamed class. Before SE updated the english sites people thought the DoM classes were Thaumaturge and Illusionist for the same reason.

I would assume that the JP aren't streaming any video. It seems like the most information came during NA test time.

Has anyone heard what the views of the JP (non-testers) are on all the NA leaked footage?

Just curious.

Sorry my mistake there.

I don't know of any stream that was pre-announced. I would assume that seeing how some other testers are towards streams they would go out of their way to figure out who is streaming and get them banned.

Looks like there's still a ton of issues getting logged in according to the Japanese players. Hopefully they'll get it improved by alpha 2.
