If I'm not mistaken, Fisher, Woodworker, Goldsmith, and Armorer were all selectable under disciple of hand at character creation
so they're not "new" persay

each city has a guild for the respective Decsipline, unannounced desicplines might be only accessable when buying equipment in new areas, possibly garlean, Ishguard or other unexplored cities?

That makes sense considering Limsa Limosa's location and likely industry. Fishing would be a staple of a port town, but sheperding would be something you find more on the mainland I guess?

Carpenter, Blacksmith, Armorer, Goldsmith, Tanner, Weaver, Alchemist and Culinarian are the DotH in the current creation menu.

Fisher, Botanist and Miner are the 3 DotL mentioned.

Everyone keeps filing Shepherd under DotL. Can any of our dat-fu masters confirm this? It strikes me as the only opportunity for a Beastmaster yet.

...though Beastmaster wouldn't really fit under DoW or DoM. Wonder how it'd work. :\ DotL after all, just charming shit and throwing 1dmg rocks, relying on whatever skills it's learned from other jobs?
