i really hope SHP isnt shepherd. wtf?! that would be the shittiest class i have ever heard of. im hoping its something like Shapeshifter. that would be sweet.

Might be something in the works that won't be added for a long time, or SE decided to add a pet job for the hell of it.

It's generally better to provide more thematic options that aren't perfectly balanced than to have a few that are. The balance problems in XI had less to do with too many jobs to balance and more to do with the rigidity of the system anyway (e.g., lack of mob diversity, lack of diversity within jobs).

Perhaps SHP will be the only class able to collect skins from mobs.

But it makes sense regardless, lots of materials for crafts could be imagined gathered by a shepherd: wool, milk, eggs, scales, horns etc.

Forgot about weaver, a single class that supplies 3 others is kinda OP.

LMFAO!! you guys are doing a wonderful job at convincing me that SHP is going to blow.

on a serious note tho. couldnt culinarians just gather milk and eggs and food supplies. couldnt a tanner get skins? a weaver get wool? it seems retarded to have so much micromanagement just to squeeze in one class.

something that WOULD make SHP cool is say something like the ability to capture mounts, or acquire them through leveling. milk and eggs... lmfao.
