It's the square mentality applied to message boards. Gotta compete against everyone else unnecessarily and eventually if you're lucky you might get it.

It's like they didn't manage to foresee a massive number of people from all over the world spamming the server to check out the site and hopefully download the client. It doesn't surprise me, really, considering the amount of traffic there is when trying to download/install patches for XI after a big update. But still, how could they possibly not have seen this coming?

Anyway, here's hoping "client download coming soon" doesn't mean "in a week or two".

You seem pretty illiterate so I doubt it's worth asking, but where did you get the April 1st start date from?

April 1st huh? Am used to testing MMOs in beta phases. This at least gives us time to download and install the client. Often they release forums and clients at once and then it takes you a week to be able to download the client because of flooded servers lol.
At least we have time to set things up if they release the client download soon
