You can't change equips during combat. There's not really any use for macros.

not in the complex way ffxi had them used, but you can still tag party/alliance chat to be used with a skill should they include macros. Or tag your <call> to your voke macro and be hated by all.

Good point. I guess people will actually have to pay attention now if they don't use macros. Oh lord!

There's plenty of use for macros, even if you aren't macroing in gearswaps, exactly. I have quite a few rotational macros in other games that don't involve a bit of gearswapping.

I had the same reaction. It'll be burdensome enough for the inventory to carry things for multiple jobs, much less to worry about extra things for the same job xD
