When I play an MMO I do it to have fun and hang out with my group in the game. If my main group dies off I usually stop playing. Which is why I've never really gotten to the "endgame" of any MMO I ever really tried. Going to be trying to find a more permanent LS/group/whatever for this game.

Just joking. :3 Something I noticed while watching a video of the intro when you're fighting the Arelia on the boat is that the Arelia drops gil. In FFXI, only enemies that seemed like they might have a use for gil had gil. Jellyfish don't have a need for gil. With normal monsters dropping gil and the rumored lack of an AH, it makes me wonder if SE is going to lean in the opposite direction of a community-driven economy. Of course, this is just the alpha. Maybe the jellyfish won't drop gil for long.
