    If alpha has over 10,000 people they can test a server to see how well it will work. Thats all they need to know, When live beta starts will the servers blow up or can they really get the testing going.

    Its not like they are going to split the groups up on servers each, they will have the numbers to test their given server and see how it will hold up.

    Only reason I want to be in the beta is to see if my PC(s) will be OK running them on max settings. Or if I need to upgrade. Sorta hope my 260 GPU holds up. Rather not drop more money if I dont have to.

    Each alpha region has less than 2,000, I'm pretty sure on that.

    Testing the login process and/or server possibly? Probably the stability of the starting area as well. I imagine it will be very limited in terms of gameplay but rather that people can connect and stay connected.
