Has anyone made a stream the new song playing on the downloader yet? If it's uploaded to like youtube or something then that will be perfect.

I think there's a total of 3 different tracks. I had to fix a 11000 error and restarted it quite a few times in the process. So far I've heard the FFXIV theme, one that sounds like it could be Limsa Lominsa, and another that might be the "ronfaure" of Limsa Lominsa.

How would one go about recording them?

I started utorrent... still had 14 torrent loaded from earlier testing (didn't work) and it did download this time

I'm not sure P2P was the best method for users to download the client...

Anyone else experiencing terribly slow DL?

I know it's a different method of dling, but I just downloaded about 20GB worth of Steam games in ~10min.

Also, unable to play XI will this is dling.. POL-0019 Connection timeout

The problem with the P2P concept at this point is there's like barely 2k people on the trackers since so few people are in the alpha.

d suggesting checking common torrent issues such as port forwarding/open, ect... Also, if you have a lot of ppl feeding off of your files then it will slow you down.

With the peer based system and small amount of testers, I had a brief spurt of optimism(that I had to clean up) for more invites, but then I remembered they set the start date for Thursday likely foreseeing this slow ass download?

I thought that the ZAM special recruitment has not yet gone out, that was to be for BETA not alpha.

SE added about 300 people to the Alpha a few weeks back without notifying anyone. People are assuming that was from the Zam/Wiki contests.
