My launch fatty had been having some problems with connectivity issues lately, so after checking my network settings multiple times I ended up getting the message taboot... So I got frustrated and just decided to restore my PS3 and now it won't even allow me past the "Plug in the PS3 remote to USB and hit the PS Button" bullshit......

That's usually why it's a good idea to read some of the pages in a post titled "My PS3 is a giant paperweight atm" before doing things like system restore, formatting, etc. Or at least check somewhere on the net.

Im really surprised they havent fixed this yet, because this is serious enough for them to toss everybody at it to find a solution. Talking about million of users who can't use their ps3, or if they can get through the error, stuff might not be saved trophy, ect... wise

Just wow. I bought a PS3 slim last month because the blu ray on my OG console gave out. Now this. Funny I own a 360 too but no problems on that.

If i turned on my system but didnt play any games, just tried to connect to PSN and when it failed i turned my system off... and I screwed? Didn't know you needed to sync your trophies... how do you do that? A few days ago I clicked on my profile to get a list of all my trophies. but dunno if thats even how u upload ur stuff.

Was playing Valkyria Chronicles last night around 11pm est, working perfectly fine on my fat 160gb. Haven't tried connecting online (long story). Probably try again later and see if I get a problem.

Im pretty sure "allmost" if not every time you go to see your trophies it auto sync's.

If you click on your trophies outside of a game it should auto synch. If not, you just hit triangle on trophies and select "Synch with Server".
