    Importing Stuff to canada

Sorry this is not to trade/sell but since this is the forum pretty sure this is the best place to ask my question

I'm about to buy something for 250$ from someone in the USA.

If we deliver it by USPS, do i have to pay Canada taxes too, or they are included in USPS shipping fee?

    Thanks :D

You have to pay Canadian Customs taxes(if there are any).

Unless they mark the item as a gift, or lie about it's value so that you pay less customs taxes.

I know a lot of people that ship from country to country just mark the package as a gift. Since a gift is suppose to be free to another person, cant really tax it. Just ask the person you are buying from to mark it as a gift and should be okay.
