Preordered and probably going to pick up the collectors edition of the strategy guide for a nice coffee table book. Spring break coincides with release, so I went ahead and took vacation. Been telling the lady for three months that the week of release of release I'm not doing shit and I'm actually going to get to enjoy my vacation this time; we'll see if she believes me this time around.

So is there a particular reason why this extremely heavy hitter (regardless of how well it sits with the fanbase) isn't having a collector's edition in North America?

I'll be picking it up eventually, but there's no real incentive to buy it day one for me, unlike say, my pre-order for God of War 3's Ultimate pack.
(CE's are pretty much the only way to sucker a day-one out of me)

Pre-ordered this when I went to pick WKC up. For some reason I kinda wanna switch to xbox version for some odd ass reason, someone shoot me now, please.

Anyway, I'll probably still end up getting it for PS3 and will be picking this up as soon as gamestop opens in the morning.

The allure of achievements! Everyone knows you need to rack up more gamerscore for...something.

I don't own a PS3, but I still feel like a traitor for playing it on 360 :\

One of the shops here send an e-mail to the people that ordered the game that they are getting it on 4th/5th already and sending it out then. Sucks I already paid for the preorder in another shop ;P

Just got done reserving this. I'm gonna try to beat this in 4 days before my friend gets here to visit, so when he brags about his copy (not gonna tell him about mine,) I can be like "Yeah... I already beat that." Lol.

Now I have to finish Tales of Graces in 7 days.

I kind of stopped caring about achievements after I lost 9k points of gamerscore, lol. I just remember though, xbox version will have 3 discs while PS3 will only have one, so I'm gonna stick to my PS3 even though I still somewhat wanna play on xbox

Pre-ordered a while back. The shop near me is having a midnight launch that I am somewhat tempted to go to simply because I've been buried under school work for the past little while and could use a video game binge, but on the other hand Sleep would be kind of nice.

And Kruotsuki, when did Tales of Graces come out? I thought it was still TBA, if that is coming out before 13, I'm definitely playing that instead.

I worked my ass off for those points since they were from games I really enjoyed, DMC4 being one of them and a few others I'm too lazy to list. It'll be nice to have FFXIII as my first Platinum trophy though.

Meh might as well post here about the deals..
Target giving away a $10 giftcard if you purchase FFXIII so pretty much you're paying 50 bucks for it..

I wonder if you can pre-order this game at Target and get an additional $5 giftcard.... I'll stop by after work/school tomorrow.

I wish that was the case, but I'm playing the JP version.

I haven't really been keeping up with FFXIII information so that it was as fresh as possible, so I was wondering if the whole "battles are harder depending on how well you do" thing actually changed anything.
