I feel you. It takes some time for it to get it off.. just fully cure yourself, SEN, and eat it. Should have plenty of time to survive it.

I just started this game and I don't want to fuck anything up, Credit Chips are ok to sell right? So far I haven't sold any weapons/acc or crafting items.

You don't really need money in the first 10 chapters unless you've been burning through your phoenix down supply like candle wax.
I think it was mentioned before, but an easy way to check sellables is to see how much exp it gives weapons/armor. All the chips give 1, so its sellable.
Chapter 9:
Spoiler: show
I lol'ed.
Question about chaining with RAV:
Does this the first chain faster than the second?
Flamestrike > Flamestrike > Flamestrike > Flamestrike > Flamestrike
Flamestrike > Fire > Flamestrike > Fire > Flamestrike
?
I usually do abilities manually on harder fights, but I was spamming auto-battle while farming and noticed it was hardly using flamestrike at all, or if it did would be like the latter of the two.
Another way to check intended sellables is that in its description in the sell window for stores, it will say "Can be sold for a premium" in the description at the top.
LOL @ chocobo song
Is there a list anywhere that shows what components lead to bonus exp and stats when upgrading weapons? Saw something on a forum that mentioned "organic" components give exp bonus, but other posts saying it doesn't matter what you use.
Organic components give exp bonus and it caps at x3. There's some cheap components you can buy that give an instant x3 when you use 36 of them; costs about 2800 for the mats. At that point you dump in the best exp metal you have in as large a quantity as you have and reap the benefit.
*Edit*
36 Sturdy Bones give a x3. Had to run over to a shop point to remember the name <_<
Damn, this game is way more fun than I thought it would be, lol. I just can't put this shit down. It just keeps getting better and better the more I play. Also, Fang is a fuckin' beast, lol.
Is it just me or does Snow look 25 and Sarah look 12?
After playing for 8 hours straight, just cant put the game down. But alas I need to go to bed. Game is fucking awesome and Ive really gotten the battle system down and the weapon upgrading, almost have the gladius maxed out.
Anyone else notice that Fang misses a lot more as com a lot more? i noticed she whiffs a lot after a launch, and that her swing animation is a lot slower. But I guess thats because swing a pole is a lot slower than sword, but lol@realism.
beat it
Yeah, I just got my Helter Skelter and took it to 21, so my Lightning is currently sitting on like.. 491 STR/230ish Magic I think? I'm not 100% sure, but she's got a maxed out +20 STR accessory (+50 STR) and a level 8 +50 STR accessory (+99), so she hits like a mac truck.
I been having putting this game down each time I pick it up D; 4 a.m. and need to be up in 3 hours.. fuck me.
Other than that I just got past the snow/hope part where the gattling gun move is like instant kill. First time was with lightning and she got owned. Then when I got snow to use SEN and use steelguard I was able to withstand hits, but I almost didn't get it up in time.
There was another fight with 2 of the snipers and the bike, and luckily the bike was targeting hope when it unleashed and saved my butt from having low hp and not ready for it at all lol.
Think he means total, since the sword itself is capped at 448STR/190Magic for lv61 Helter Skelter. He probably isn't as far as you in the game/hasn't done as much STR nodes on the CP grids as you.
