Around when is Sazh outclassed? Haste is the only reason i use him, i cant seem to find it on Vanille's/Hope's synergist Crystarium, unless its really high ranked.

Yea, Hope gets it after chap 11 final boss, at which point Sazh is outclassed huge being that Hope blows his damage out of the water and has his best buff. Also while in the tower I obtained 2 sprint shoes via dismantle so I had Fang & Light starting with haste anyway, and using Hope or Vanille for higher damage output with Com/Rav/Rav I was ending most all battles before the auto-haste wore off, so again not needing Sazh.

I'm on chapter like 7 now, but I pretty much completely ignored the cutscenes from chapter 6(?) when Sazh and Vanille were in the forest area place. I dunno I just got bored of them :/

In fact, the more story you read in the datalogs and the more cutscenes you watch, *GAAAAASP* the more the story makes sense! omg?

It's similar to Lost, where you're thrown into a situation with a group of characters and, through flashbacks and such, you reveal where they are from, how they got there, and their motives. Hence the "13 days."

Duh. I know it's my fault I'm not bashing the game or anything, I want to watch and understand but I don't know why I just can't keep my focus <_<. Why does people seem to hate Hope so much? I love him personally, he's such an awesome Ravager. I have him with Auto-Faith and he just fucks shit up. I basically just do Blitz > Ruinga, and Hope follow up with a -ga spell and everything gets staggered. That is if there's any survivors.

Hope even manages to suck in battle, his HP is retarded low. That, in addition to his shitty character, just makes me more than happy to bench him 99% of the time. I have yet to use him outside of the game forcing me to use him when he decides to stop being a little bitch and be proactive.

I'll stop despising Hope when he stops getting one-shot by every big enemy/boss I've had him face.

Also, I'm not going to lie... the end of Ch.8 almost had me tearing up a little... as macho as I am.

He's almost always capped out in his Crystarium... you can't deny that his HP is naturally shit. I guess I'll have to slap a pair of Tungsten Bangles on him or something to keep him alive.

No, he sucks all on his own. Sazh rocks his face right the fuck off. If you are using Hope before he has Haste you are doing it wrong.

Lol, I've 5-star'd every boss and mission up to 14 without Haste(except Ch.9 Bart. I had to use that Bravery/Faith/Haste item), and don't need it to 5-star normal mobs, so I'd say I'm doing it right.

Luckily even those who do it wrong are able to 5 star things before Chp. 11, Hope is horrible until he gets Haste, people can love him all they want but he offers nothing beneficial that Sazh doesn't and Sazh is a bad motherfucker with Haste. Protect and Shell suck.
