Yes. Missions are repeatable, so if you abandon it you can always go back and do it anytime.

Which is why 5-staring them early on is kind of a wasted effort, unless I'm missing something.

When I first started doing missions, I didn't worry about 5-staring them all.

Hint: if it says Can be sold at a premium in description. Just sell it

Reason I ask is this is not a game I would play from start to end again, chapter 11+ yes but not one LOL. Don't want to find out I have to start over if I end it for trophies.

and you can probably sell:
Perfume
Moonblossom/Starblossom Seed
Succulent/Malodorous Fruit
Green Needle

Don't sell the other stone-looking icon things (adamantite etc) or anything with "reactor" in the name

Yes, you just lose access to best CP grinding spot though. There are other decent spots even if you do finish the game though.

What Wakabo said, but I was already too far to go back once I found out. If you can somehow manage to get Growth Egg before going there that's even better, should cap out level 9 Crystarium in a few hours if you can kill them quick.
