off the top of my head I've dug up several pieces of equipment that are not on that list (tetradic tiara, ribbon) and I'm pretty sure I've gotten uraninite as well

You get the equipment after a specific number of digs, and that never changes. Ribbon is the last one you get - after 20 digs I think.

Right. Gold Nugget for 1, Tetradic Crown for 5, Tiara for 10, Entite Ring for 15 and Ribbon for 20.

Im unsure if this has been asked, but I have been avoiding this section as much as possible as I havent beaten the game yet. But, do you have to have the Collector Catalog on an active party member for it to take effect?

yes, any active party member

if the monster dies to a summon, then it has to be on the leader but otherwise it doesnt matter

Yes, an active member of the group has to have it equipped.

Just finished the game, loved every minute of it, what a beautiful ending. Need to work on weapons and such now, but man, I loved this game.

I liked the ending but it seemed sorta shot. Wish they would of went more into detail about what happened to the others we saw in the game.

I just got a Perovskite in a chest in ch 11. And you can get sprint shoes by dismantling Tetra Crowns. Tiaras dismantle into hermes shoes. Not sure where else you can get the shoes.

I dismantled a Tetra Tiara (max lvl, only need to level it once) and got sprint shoes, among other stuff, im yet to dismantle a crown, so idk about that.

crown dismantles into hermes sandals, which upgrade into sprint shoes as well

So I just got to gran pulse and there are jumping spots that you can't yet jump using them. How do you jump on these spots?

if they are yellow, you need a chocobo (which you get access to after mission 14)

Finally got Treasure Hunter. Man that was a grind. Thank goodness I never have to fight another Oretoise.

Now I just need to 5* all missions to get my platinum. :D

I have done up to mission 8 but I can't find any more missions, do I need to just advance in the chapter more I guess?

Oh, and what hidden effects, if any, do the role levels give in the crystarium or do you just need to open them to access higher tiers in the tree when they become available.

You can do up to 17 before continuing the chapter.

Role levels increase the power of the bonus that each role gives.
