So it occurs to me that to max out Tier3 weapons for the 3 party members I don't use (Vanille/Sazh/Snow) it'll cost me another 3.8 mil.

I had originally planned to take another set of 6 weapons (1 for each person) to Tier3 as well, but that's 950k to max Tier2, 2 more traps (I have 4 extra from platinum farming), and 7.5mil to max those Tier3s out. And forget about maxing out the remaining Tier2 weapons, lol.

I kinda wanted to max out all my elemental/debuff resist accessories too, but I don't even want to think about how pesky that will be. Normally I'd farm up extra ribbons, convert them to super ribbons, and level them up, but I'm getting really really tired of the game lol.

I did, however, manage to get 4 Kaiser Knuckles, 3 Magistral Crests, and 6 Imperial Armlets, all to * level. Currently have just the mission 64 reward left for my Treasure Hunter Achievement and I'm done.

In case anyone cares here are some stats from my kills:

Adamantortoise (Archlyte Steppe): 39 kills, 15 platinum, 1 trap

Adamantoise (Eden): 48 kills, 23 platinum, 5 traps

Shao Long Gui: 76 kills, 16 gold nuggets, 17 dark matter

Sacrifice (wearing both Collector/Connoiseur): 100 kills, 28 perfume, 28 scarletite
Sacrifice (wearing just Collector's Catalog): 100 kills, 25 perfume 28 scarletite

There are a few other turtle kills in there but I forgot to write them down, I did get some extra traps from them though (10 total).

Nice numbers. So I guess you'd probably say it's better off being on Eden where there are Sacrifices and that Adamantoise than being out in GP, eh? Seems like drops are better on Eden anyway. I have 2 Omega Weapons so far with two other traps sitting on me, so I was planning on just getting two more traps to work on Omega weapons instead of the 'split into 3' thing.

Also, why'd you go with 4 Kaiser Armlets and 3 Magistral Crests, along with 6 Imperial Armlets? Obviously to equip your party members with, but what's your usual setup with your group? I use Fang/Light/Hope.

My setup for Adamantoise/tortise usually has fang with Power Glove, two black belts *, and genji's glove. Light with Power Glove + two Black Belt* + Genji Glove, and Hope with Growth Egg (still not maxed), a General's Belt*, Black belt* and a rare item drop book.

Yeah, I'm gimp with just Black Belt* and one General Belt*, but eh. I use Fortesol/Aegisol too, lol

For Shaolong Guis I was doing 2 Imperial + Kaiser + Genji for Light/Fang, and 2 Imperial + Catalog + usually 20-sided dice for Hope.

For Adamantoises I don't usually need 2 Imperial Armlets, so I usually do:
Fang/Light: Imperial Armlet, Kaiser Knuckles x2, Genji Glove
Hope: Imperial Armlet, Magistral Crest x2, Catalog

I farmed 4 Kaiser Knuckles and 3 Magistral Crests so Fang and Light could each wear 2, or Fang could wear 3 and Lightning could wear 1 str/1mag while still allowing Hope to wear 2. Normally my setup for just running around is:
Fang: Kaiser x2, Sprint Shoes, Genji Glove
Light: Sprint Shoes, Aurora Scarf (gives 10% atb boost with sprint shoes on top of first strike), Kaiser, Genji Glove or Magistral Crest
Hope: Magistral x2, Sprint Shoes, either Collector or Connoisseur's Catalog

Granted I've been capped on CP for a long time, so yeah. Growth Egg sells for 250k and I've been tempted more times than I can count lol

edit: I also ended up with 1 champions/3 generals belts, and 1 magus/3 witch braclets too somehow, honestly I don't even remember maxing all of those out.

Just got to Gran Pulse, it's huge... After a couple hours farming CP on the behemoth v. wolf thing I decided to do some exploring, I think I finished 4 missions, just did the first waystone one... how many missions shoudl I do before progressng and how lost am I gonna get cause I'm pretty lost atm >.>;

2nd time around i did up to M29, unlocking all waystones, and M55, doing this i capped all 3jobs time i got to next main boss fight, once u get to next part where you get go back 2 grand pulse, go back & do M55 for growth egg(CPx2).

Once you get to Chp13 PM me and ill tell you about the 500kcp/20min camp

Edit: First lot of missions lead to each other, you'll complete 1 and it will take you to the next, after that its jst question of looking for the flashy markers

Hey I just finished chapter 11 but I missed the robot quest. When is the next time I can return to Pulse? and can I still do the robot quest even though I missed it in chapter 11?

End of Chapter 13, and yeah should still be able to do the quest.

Nice, nice. Yeah.. that seems like a great setup, actually. Normally for running around, I go:
Fang: Power Glove, Auto-Bravery, Auto-Haste, Genji Glove
Light: Power Glove, Auto Bravery, Auto Haste, Genji Glove
Hope: Growth Egg, Auto-Faith, Auto-Haste, Rare Item Drop Catalog

Since I use Sols for turtles anyway, I could see how upgrading those Imperial Armlets along with the top of the line STR+/MAG+ gears would really help out. Maybe I"ll do that next up after I cap Fang's weapon. It's only like.. level 69 at the moment, and I'm still working on capping jobs.

I almost have everyone's 4th job + 5th almost maxed. Doing Synergist on Light, Ravager on Fang (it's so nice not spewing Fire Fire Fire etc for chain boosting), and Sentinel on Hope, Haha. Him as a Sent is so funny. Gonna probably do Sent on Light next, Syn on Fang, and uh.. Commando on Hope.

I should test auto-bravery vs 300 str on crap mobs, your way is probably better but eh, after 122 hours I'm so tired of playing. I think I'll be done tomorrow, yay

I like to run around with the aurora scarf instead of the auto bravery so I can get a full ATB bar at the start of every fight. It makes the weak things die super fast.

Yep, Aurora scarf is great for easy stuff. Getting 00:00 battle times on preempt fights is always nice.

Yeah, that's just my typical run around strat, but I'll probably swap things up and try things out with the scarf for sure.

I'm still at around 40 hours, but I'm adamant on playing 12 and 13 without a break and things keep coming up.

I gave up on platinum today. I thought I had gotten everything for Treasure Hunter, yet the robot won't give it to me. This morning I systematically did every weapon upgrade that I needed, and last night I had done every accessory straight through. After 89 hours, I can't say I have any motivation to figure out what I must have missed, so I'll just settle for everything but that one trophy being done.

I gave up on platinum today. I thought I had gotten everything for Treasure Hunter, yet the robot won't give it to me. I'd try checking if you picked up the Fire charm. It ended up being the 1 accessory I was missing and it took me a while to figure out, since I had sold a few of the charms. Same thing happened with a friend, it's really easy to miss.

I actually had picked up all six charms right before porting out to Oerba. My best guess is that I missed one of the low-tier elemental rings, but overlooked it because I had picked up the matching mid-tier at some point. Oh well, not worth playing the whole thing again, so it's cool.
