Stealth in general is retarded in a game where the first action almost always wins, but yeah, accuracy mattering would be a big help.

Isn't everyone always complaining there's nothing to do at 50? Why would anybody in such a big hurry?
I don't think it's so much a matter of hurrying as it is the fact just playing regularly should at least have you 45+ unless you've got severe alt-itis.
^ everything gives EXP in this game, even ultra-casual play should get you to 50 in like 4 months.
You would know that because you're such a ultra casual right?
The definition of "Ultra Casual" is up for debate. A casual player would be someone who does NOT login everyday. Someone who probably plays about 10 hours a week or less. I myself have been leveling an alt from 1-42 for about 2 months here for this amount of time. So yes... given 4 months any casual player that actually tried to level in Aion could get to 45-50. However, the term denotes that these players may not actually "try to level".

As for the leaked notes, some of them are quite interesting for lower levels. The reduction of two of three big level 30 abilities to level 20. Reskinning and new wings at 20 will be nice for lower levels, but has zero impact on the game at large.
What does give me pause about the game is the reintroduction of Spell Crit as well as the "Resilience" stats to reduce critical damage of both physical and magical.
There is a lot of nice things going on, the UI updates, the soul healing cost reduction and the additions of flight paths. The proposed second and upgraded Rested XP buff will be nice for leveling. Plus vendor buyback is a much needed addition as well.
The rest of it is just plain fluff to make it look like they are doing more. Sure, the new abilities in 1.9 will help in PvP, but it does NOTHING to solve the innate issues of the system itself.
The notes are intriguing but do nothing to change my feelings about the game.
Crafting is still luck based? Especially hhom? lol @ me for hoping for some kind of failsafe, back to selling my stains I guess
This right here may be extremely... bad to say the least for Glad & Sin in PvP. Knockdown resist buff, having Ankle Snare be dispellable (aside from Cleric/select few abilities which can now), wondering about the Crit defense, having Sorc be able to Crit a 10k~ Shadowburst while kiting me around, starting to hope NC didn't totally screw with Glad5. new skills: at level 40, every class can learn a skill that you use to avoid stun/stumble/aether hold for a short time (buffs resistance to stun). at level 48, you learn a skill that dispels right away and you immediately counter-attack (think of WoW's pvp trinket for stuns basically)

On the flipside, being able to combine 2H weapons seems cool as well as ground Abyss, but that's about it that'll really be "game breaking" from a Glad's point of view.

I have to ask this because it's been on my mind since I heard about magic crits being added:
What's to gain from putting magical crits in anyway? If they wanted to buff sorcs and sms they could've just nerfed MR. Are they just throwing more variables into the equation hoping the problem solves itself or something? Why are magic crits becoming a big trend in gaming? And why were physical crits ever such a big deal that every RPG ever had to have them in the first place? All they do is introduce more and more luck into the system.

System to unite two weaponsinto one. The sub-weapon will be destroyed, but part of the stats and manastoneslots of the sub-weapon will be reinstated into the main weapon. The manastoneswill remain intact after fusion.
The type ofweapon must be the same, and main weapon must be of equal or higher level thanthe sub-weapon. After fusion, 20% of the sub-weapon’s base attack and magicattack will be imbued into the main. This will not include the amount enhancedby item upgrade (i.e. +10 stuff).

Ø Certain dungeon instance droprate is changed or will feature a new item
Ø To reduce the stress oflevelling, certain NPC merchants will be situated in certain towns and citiesthat will lend out equipment for a fee. The equipment or items will be onlyavailable for a certain amount of time, and will automatically destruct afterthat period. These equipment will not be available for mana socketing or itemupgrade, nor will be available for item fusion.
Ø There will be new items andequipment that can be purchased through Abyss Points without the requirement certainmedals. The levels for these equipment are 25, 35, 45.
Ø Vitality points will be moreeasily distinguishable from its surroundings in Poeta and Ishalgen.
Ø If you put in the correctpassword while aether drawing, flight will increase by 5 seconds.
Ø New skillbook for Chanters throughNPC available, “Physical Attack Increase I”.
