Because I ask them to crash when i'm otherwise too tired to function, theyre more than willing to help but if I had asked any of them to put me up for the last 4 months that would have been unacceptable. When I couldn't walk for that 3 day stretch, the favor I asked for was more than enough.

My mom works hard, rents a room in manhattan and her landlord doesn't allow guests. She hooks me up with meals here and there which is more than enough.

A woman that used to work with my mom recently had a friend of her husband's move in with them because he lost his job and they found out he was living out of his car. The guy doesn't do anything around the house, isn't looking for a job, and sits around all day playing WoW. When I saw her a couple weeks ago, she told my mom that the guy was probably going to be there at least another year, if not two.

That being said, if I find a place on my own before you get a permanent residence you're welcome to stay as long as you need to, although the location I'd be wouldn't really be conducive to where you're currently looking for work. As long as you didn't behave anywhere near like the guy I just mentioned I wouldn't really worry about you burdening me, it's not like your income is $0.
