Kaine, yes. Very very vocal. The conversation between her and the book are very comical, and sometimes with alot of feeling (I.E that clip in the video). I listen to that sound clip every time I turn on the game. There's alot of times where there's alot of feeling in the VO's, which I enjoy

I believe I'm getting pretty close to the end of the game right now. But I'll reserve comment till I know for sure.

Well, old man Nier is infinitely more fitting to the game than anime fag Nier. Wouldn't say only macho protagonists work, but they do work better in some cases.

Starting to get tired of playing as a male character I'd bone given half a chance.

This game's music is ridiculously good. Like some of the best ever. Though it does lack variety between songs.
