Have to find a friend that will let me dl the game to test how my rig will hold uo. They can dl it on more then one pc the beta right?

As for not getting in it is out of hand random, 6 accounts all linked to my token and most up and running for years. It is best I don't do anything big with beta(small tests) as odds are I would miss/not do much with the limited time I have as of now. If I did get in my posts and emails to se would be (my card is x and x and using x ram) with the odd graphics glitch thrown in LOL not much help.

Still want to find out how far I can push this PC.

SE might not get too bent out of shape about the odd screenshot, but once you start trying to improperly obtain their intellectual property, you will end up in a world of hurt.

I love all those ppl who got into the alpha / beta and start preaching NDA and attempt to be the NDA police, provides many good laughs for me at how insignificant they r. I didn't get an alpha invite and I guarantee I'll see enuff of the alpha to be satisfied... And there ain't nothing u can do about it :D

Guess you've never crossed an organization that has most of its capital in intellectual property.

I know one company that crossed my old employer, which was very IP heavy (like SE.) The result was that the courts gave my employer the power to roll up the entire industry if anybody tried the same stunt again.

BTW, I didn't even apply for alpha/beta.

If they do as much as they did when we told them about all the hacking in FFXI i am sure that breaking the NDA is gonna end up with you getting at a slap on the wrist ....thats if your an idiot and SE can tell who posted said pic/movie/text ect ect. sooo just dont get caught lulz... we all that didnt get in would love a sneak speak while you all find bugs in the game ...that is what your all doing right?!? Except that the hacks are a breach of terms of service, and intellectual property theft is a different beast entirely.

IP companies do go looking for theft, my organization has a unit dedicated to it, and they do take legal action (you can pay up, sign a contract, or face a slam-dunk case in court - and it even works in China.) If you think SE won't be looking for illegal downloads, bearing in mind how tightly they kept the lid on FFXIV, you're not mad, just daft.

If you had read what I had written earlier in the thread, you'd realize that the reading comprehension-challenged are in no position to make fun of anyone.

I was not talking about screenshots, in fact I specifically excluded them from my post. SE will make noises about that, but won't do anything.

I was talking about some numbnuts wanting to download the alpha/beta client from a tester to see if his machine could run it. That is all I have ever addressed.

didnt realize u were a mod to suggest such things. and they werent trickling out invites. They added everyone from ZAM one day, then ppl from FFXIenclopedia another day. Then after everyone was added they sent out emails.
