XIV Special Beta Recruitment with ZAM

I was talking about some numbnuts wanting to download the alpha/beta client from a tester to see if his machine could run it. That is all I have ever addressed.

not that it matters to me cause no one i know for beta...., but if he did have the client DL'd to another computer and run it under his buddies login + ID there is not way for SE to say "hey man thats not your "OWN" computer BANFUUUUUUUUU!!!..... i know this as my buddies share the SC2 beta as long as one person logs in on that one account no way of getting caught ...and dont tell me the IP address thing either becuase what if i decided to load it to my laptop and use it on my buddies network at his place therefore not using same IP as my place .... again YOUR thoughts FAIL not mine!

I looked through a couple threads and I don't see anyone mentioning getting this message when they try to log in after getting the Alla invite

Honestly that sounds like you didn't actually get invited. Have you tried logging in to https://secure.square-enix.com/accou...n?cont=account to verify you've got FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Test on your service history?

etc. is the email. Why wouldn't it register on my account, just a mistake?

If it's not showing up on the SE Account page, then you weren't added as a beta tester. Maybe check http://support.na.square-enix.com/ and the FFXIV section to see if you can contact a human and find out why you're not in the system? That, or wait until Thursday, they seem to add a new batch of accounts each week.

The last wave of invites were from ZAM.

There has been no mention nor talk about more than 1 wave from the ZAM/Wiki invites. Both of them sent 1 wave each and their recruitment special is most likely over, sorry you can wait for wave two from SE.

Wouldn't get your hopes up. They added a small number of ppl from each. It wasn't meant to be a significant way to get into Alpha. Though SE has said in multiple news letters that there will be more ways to get into the Beta.. So once CB starts I'd expect more things like the ZAM/Enclopedia to pop up
