ok........? And after talking to SE the account actually isn't banned, but it did get hacked, and someone transferred him off Bahamut, so now I don't know if his account is worth SALVAGING.

Who is picking the winners?

ZAM will be randomly drawing an undisclosed amount of entries and submitting them to Square Enix.

Can I enter more than once?

If you have more than one Square Enix Account, yes, but we are not accepting duplicate entries.

Can I enter both this drawing and the FFXIClopedia one?

We are not comparing entries, so yes, you can enter at both sites and therefore increase your chances, but you will not be able to "win" more than once per SE Account.

Is my POL e-mail the same as my SE Account email?

Unless you set your Square Enix Account to be under your POL email, then no, it is not the same.

What if I made a mistake on my email?

If you made an error, apply again with the correct email.

When will the winners be chosen?

Application ends midnight PST on March 7. We will draw the winners and send the list to Square Enix on Monday, March 8. You will be notified by Square Enix if you were chosen.

And what about people who entered without meeting the conditions? How does ZAM know if I applied to the beta or am currently subscribing to FFXI?

I'm sure SE has a way to check this sorta stuff. There just isn't any need for them to give us all the little details. All that's important is that they already made another way to get into the alpha/beta/whatever so soon after the initial emails were sent out, which I think is pretty tight.

We're submitting a list with twice as many applicants as they're awarding access to so that alleviates the problem of duplicates and ineligibility.

Even though I did sign up with my (EU) SquareEnix ID, I doubt it's gonna have any effect due to the inability to link my (US) Playonline ID to my (EU) SquareEnix ID. So as far as SE is concerned I didn't play FFXI for the last 5 years or so.

Maybe I should try and make a (US) SquareEnix ID but I forgot if I need to have valid US credentials.

You don't, unless they changed it. When FFXI was first released I imported it from US.
